INK (Interior Newman and Kamali) was set up in July 2000 by Paul
Newman and Nazanin Kamali.
The collaboration between Newman and Kamali started
back in 1993 at Aero; the contemporary design company
which was set up in 1989 by Paul Newman and Rob Whyte
(Australian architect, the pioneer of Aero Australia).
Kamali joined Aero in 1993 and in the next seven years
Aero (UK) became a leading brand in contemporary design.
In 2000, Newman and Kamali took the Aero tradition, concept and products and
started a new company "INK."
